Dr. David Hocher is the medical director at Round Rock Animal Hospital and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University in 1987 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Texas A&M University in 1992. Dr. Hocher is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and Capital Area VMA. He is also a supporter of the Christian Veterinary Mission.

With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Hocher has developed special interests in dentistry and ophthalmology, and he remains dedicated to preventive care. A longtime resident of Round Rock, he has lived in the community for over three decades and enjoys building lasting relationships with its pet-loving residents.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Hocher and his wife, Kathy, enjoy spending time with their three grown sons. He is passionate about music and regularly plays piano with his church worship band. His hobbies also include woodworking and traveling. The Hocher family shares their home with three beloved dogs—two Yorkies named Poppy and Woody, and a Collie named Belle.
