Veterinarian
Dr. Garcia-Lindborg grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico — “The Land of Enchantment.” As a child, she loved working with and training her family pets and, like many veterinarians, always dreamed of joining the profession. She graduated from New Mexico State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. She then attended Colorado State University, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010.
Dr. Garcia-Lindborg moved to Austin, Texas, in 2018 with her husband and six fur babies. They immediately fell in love with the city's vibrant culture and knew they had made the perfect decision. They love that Austin is extremely pet-friendly and always offers something new to explore — not to mention the amazing breweries and restaurants the city has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, hiking, watching movies, and training her dogs to learn new tricks.
Dr. Garcia-Lindborg is passionate about preventative care, the human-animal bond, animal behavior, and the Fear Free movement. She is Fear Free Certified, Low Stress Handling Certified, and a member of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB). She also holds memberships with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
Dr. Garcia-Lindborg finds nothing more rewarding than providing excellent client education to help pet parents make informed medical decisions for their animals. She truly loves the veterinary profession and is committed to delivering the compassion and care needed during times of uncertainty and stress. Her goal is to ensure that your fur baby is well cared for and stays happy and healthy while at the clinic.
