Dr. Garcia-Lindborg grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From a young age, she loved caring for and training her family pets and always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University in 2005, then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Colorado State University in May 2010.

In 2018, Dr. Garcia-Lindborg moved to Austin, Texas, with her husband and six pets. They quickly fell in love with the city’s vibrant culture and pet-friendly atmosphere. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, hiking, watching movies, and teaching her dogs new tricks.

Dr. Garcia-Lindborg is passionate about preventive care, the human–animal bond, and promoting positive behavioral health. She is Fear Free Certified, Low Stress Handling Certified, and a member of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB). She also maintains memberships with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Dr. Garcia-Lindborg finds great fulfillment in educating clients and helping them make informed decisions about their pets’ health. She loves the veterinary profession and is dedicated to providing compassionate, gentle care—especially during times of stress or uncertainty. Her goal is to ensure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for during their visit.

She is excited to join the Round Rock Animal Hospital team and looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
